Don't need to. The MC blows away the T4, period. The stock MC bulb should produce around twice the lumens of the T4. Plus, the MC can be easily modded to put out 2-3 times the stock config.

Having said that, these are two very different lights, even though they are both rechargeable externally. The T4 is a li-ion driven 3W led, and the MC is a 8W or so Nicad incandescent. Besides the diffences in battery performance, the T4 will have a much higher (blueish) color temp, while the MC will outthrow the T4 significantly. To be fair, the MC is also much larger and heavier than the T4.

Welcome to CPF and what Phaserburn said regarding the Invoa T4 and the MagLite Rechargeable. Absolutely NO comparison in regards to your question as to "brightness". Two completely different lights.

Enjoy!

Welcome to CPF Exsnet. The MC is, no contest, brighter. The T4 puts out a smoother beam and nicer whiter light. of course the MC uses a fragile filament while the T4 is using an 'indestructible' LED.

"Indestructible"? I don't know about that. "Indestructible" means 'impossible to destroy.' I personally know of some LEDs, even of the Luxeon caliber, that didn't last all that long. Maybe just those few particulars. So LEDs are 'impossible to destroy' eh? That'll be the day!
