Rechargables compatibility

Hi,

I'm considering a new flashlight
please note it'll be my first luxeon LED.

On my shortlist there are:
- Pelican M6 2390
- LED Logic Striker VG
- Siren Apollo FX

I read posts on this forum as well as Doug's reviews on www.flashlightreviews.com and I still have one question:

Will they work on Rechargable cells (if yes, on which) or not ?
I'm sure about Apollo but what about the rest

Quickbeam has a Pila compatibility table, not sure if all those lights are listed there.

I saw Pila chart, but what about RCR 123a ?
I would prefer rechargable 123's because they are easy to get

So, have you any expirience with RCR 123a's in Pelican and/or Striker ?

Hi Ramjet,

I have a PM6 3W. If you do a search, you'll find a lot of info on it. The PM6 3W has a good throw and a good sidespill. About two weeks ago, I ordered some R123 from Markcm. The PM6 3W performed with no problem and the runtime was around 38 minutes with the R123. If you want to know more about Markcm's R123, go to this link.

I personally spoke with someone there who personally spoke with Marcus if LEDLogic. They tried it on the Striker-VG and it is very compatible.

Can't get a better advise than that.
