Anyone have a preferred vendor for cat5e cable? My compny is moving and we need to completly wire our new space. I am looking for cat5e in bulk 1000' spools or boxes, spools prefered and we need it in at least 4 colors.

Thanks

I've not dealt with QVS in years; but, they always had good prices and service:

Here's where I usually buy my bulk cable making components:
http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&categoryId=253020
Bulk 5E is 0.16/ft once you ctep up to 1000 foot quantitity.

Here's where I usually by my preassembled network cables:

They have 1000 ft boxes for $70, but only 3 colors are listed online. But they have other colors in 250 ft boxes, and they might be able to get 1000 ft boxes if you call.

I bought some at Home Depot today, $0.18 per foot, but it was only available in light grey.

Anybody have experience with LanShack?

They have a good selection, colors & all, and it's easy to select whether or not I'm buying plenum-grade (whether or not it can be run in airspaces and above false ceilings and pass inspection).

(edit) Lessing I hope you don't think I was trying to redirect your post -- the lanshack.com place looks like a place you might want to check out also, but I haven't used them. That's more what I meant. Somedays I just can't write. Oh well.

I usually just call up Graybar and have them ship me however much of whatever I need. I generally get good prices from them.
