Hello All...

I'm in the mood for another light (lord help us)... and I want it to run off of AAA's... I really don't care how many AAA's (depending on size)... but I just want it to run off of AAA's...

Since this is an EDC and not a keychain light the size doesn't have to be tiny like an ARC AAA P or something (already got that)... However, I dont' consider the "My Little Friend" an EDC light so it needs to be smaller than that... a good pocket size.... I'm just looking for a solid AAA light...

I'd prefer it to have some adjustable outputs but I'll take what I can get... currently the best thing that I can find as far as HAIII/adjustable outputs is a MillerMods L0P... which does look like a great light...

Just thought I'd see from the large pool of flashlight lovers if I'm forgetting about a good EDC AAA light... Thanks!

Well, I hear the Peak Pacific is a nice light. If it ever gets here I could tell you about it! Doug:)

Yeah the Pacific looks like a nice light... too bad it doesn't have more than one level of output... seems that a MillerMod L0P would be brighter on the high setting...

but I like the idea of having 1xAAA or 2xAAA options :)

Thanks!

Well, right now I'm using the Petzl Tikka XP that runs on three (3) AAA batteries. It does have multi-setting + strobe + boost. It is small[ish] especially without the headband.

well then dont forget millermod also does a 2 stage arc-AAA, and thats a tuffer and better then LOP unless somthing changed the LOP is not HAIII, i had one .,its unfortunate your leaving out single cell cr123,r123,rcr2, that would open you up a bit to some nicer lights

thanks for the plug on the millermod arc... the L0P is HAIII so it remains the best option since its tough as nails, good company, dealer, and modder... mult. outputs...

hehe... its not unfortunate that i'm leaving out 1x123's I got a ton of them already! :D... I'm just in the mood for a AAA edc...

Dae offers a few other 3xAAA luxeon lights but are bigger than these. These six are the smallest.

He also has MANY 5mm nichia 1xAAA, 2xAAA, 3xAAA, 4xAAA & 6xAAA LED lights but i didn't think you were interested in those.

Would you consider AA?
My Cinictor is shorter than a Dorcy AAA.
The L1T sound like what you need other than the bigger battery.

is the Arc AAA P w/ Flupic really considered a AAA? It NEEDS a li-ion to run right? I only use protected li-ions...

BTW... the reason i'm not going with AA's is because i already have a perfect proton... theres no need for anything else ...
