Yes or no?

And yeah, I did read all the extensive threads on the matter of improper heat sinking... Is it still a problem? My 2/3AA doesn't seem to get warm at all.

I thought it was a good deal. That's why I bought mine there. If the drop-in is $20, then $30 for the whole thing would mean paying $10 for the 4D body, which sounds like a lot less than usual.

There isn't very much heatsinking, but there is a thermal throttle. If the module starts getting too hot, it'll back itself down until its temperature stabilizes. This should keep it bright for short bursts while avoiding damage during extended use.

The MagLED module (I have a 4-cell, which is the same output as 3-cell but with more runtime) has a tighter and whiter spot than my DB-3W 3D Mag. It's pretty cool.

I actually got the MAGLED Module at home depot, they had a sale for $15 (now up to $18.88)

I will try it before deciding on the whole light....
