recommend me a light

Sorry if this question gets asked a lot but I want to buy a nice compact light that can fit on a belt. I work in law enforcement and need the brightest light possible that can recharge, fit in a holster on belt and has a pretty good spotlight to it. Most coworkers have Stingers and I've currently got a Scorpian. Anything out there like the Stinger but can light up a person vehicle from a distance better?

The Streamlight TL-3 will do the trick and you can use rechargeable batteries in it. It's a very bright light.

That Microfire HID is really a great "warrior". I wish I own one too. But he says he works in law enforcement. Not sure if the 10-15 second warm-up period for it to attain full brightness after being turned on would be a probem though. But the full brightness are about 530 lumens and after activating the light it will produce light, 150 lumens up to the first 5 seconds.
