I thought these 2 would be logical comparisons, especially since many peopel have an L4 and have a good feel for how bright one is.

Sean's site (http://members.aol.com/qn9513/myhomepage/index.html) is an excellent place for beamshots. Also, Bernie did an outdoor shootout (https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/96686&highlight=outdoor) that included a L4 and U2. I'm sure there are others, but that's 2 to get you started. You may want to try the Google search on CPF for L4 U2 beamshots, but be prepared to wade through the results!

Oh, BTW, although the total output of the 2 lights are similar (100 lumens), the beam characteristics aren't identical. The L4 has a floody beam while the U2's beam throws further. Also, the L4 is a single stage light (100 lumens and off) while the U2 has multiple stages of brightness. To get more info on these two, you can also visit flashlightreviews.com, a WEALTH of information.
