minimag AA/LED vs Terralux TLE-5

I only have the MMLED, but I have read that it pretty much blows away all of those Terralux drop in's for the old Minimag. It is around 35 -40 lumens, so you should be impressed.

I have the terralux high dome emitter and the old side emitter and my new 2AA Magled blows them both away in brightness, quality of focus and tint. I imagine the 3AA would be even better.
The mods are great but the new is better? You decide.

Are-n-cha just a lil' disappointed in the shape/design of the head and the
lanyardhole-less tailcap? It just looks a little cheaper to me. I'm going to
get one of these but I think the older design of the MM looked better despite
the fact that it's dated.

I was gonna get one everytime I walked into a walmart lately, and just can't
do it. partly because it's form factor is old and long to me, being more into short stubby 1x123 light's these days, and the that even the 2xAA is bigger, longer etc. VDG

Led MM over Teralux, except if you can't get beyond the longer form factor.
I didn't think I could until I tried the 3AA Led MM, blew me away!
Best place to get is Ho De's (Home Depot). 19.** vs Walmart's 25.** at least in
