Modifying KL1 (gen 4)

So I understand that many people have swapped out the original collimator optics with a reflector/glass lens combo, as well as the Lux. Well I'm not interested in the former, only the latter, so is it easy to open op the KL1 and swap out the Lux with ease? If so, how? Thanks in advance.
