Google's introducing their new checkout system at Buy.com (which so happens to carry a pretty good selection of flashlights including Inova, Pentagon, and Streamlight.)

When you checkout, you MUST click the Google checkout on the page, not Buy.com's checkout.

That's great, but their prices appear to be outrageously high, even with $10 off.

No kidding $55 for a Scorpion?! With shipping, that would come out to be more than the actual MSRP price that the local uniform store charges (they charge list price for everything, since they're usually dealing with funny-money uniform allowances.)

Recently, I used the $10 off Google checkout and wondered what value they were receiving in exchange for my data and their ten bucks. This week, the postman delivered five new catalogs from companies I had never before seen.
