Yes, the most simple approach is to upload the pictures and then people could view them by using the correct link.
As a minimum, you probably should make folders and then organize the pictures by folders. That way you can give someone the link to the folder and then they can browse the images.
To get a bit fancier, you would want to create pages with HTML. This can be fairly easy if you use the "file/edit page" features of browsers like Netscape. You can build the page and then upload it.
If you upload an HTML page called "index.html", it will become the default page if you go to that location.
That is to say, if you have a directory with the following files:
myweblocation/ (main directory/folder)
myweblocation/index.html
myweblocation/arcaaa (subdirectory/folder)
myweblocation/arcaaa/arcaaafront.jpg
If you specify the link:
http://myweblocation
you get the contents of what is in index.html
If you specify the link:
http://myweblocation/arcaaa
It will show you the arcaaa directory, including the picture and it will allow you to click on the picture.
If you specify the link:
http://myweblocation/arcaaa/arcaaafront.jpg
It will display the picture.
