About 8 weeks ago I sent in an E1L and my KL4 from my L4. The E1L flickered coming out of regulation, and that was fixed no problem. I didn't expect much from the donut repair.
However, much to my surprise, the donut is what I would call 95% gone. If I'm looking super hard on a white wall it's there, but nothing like it was. The emitter isn't centered in the reflector anymore, and I wonder if that's how they fixed it. However, the hot spot isn't off center, so I don't know.
I'm just glad it's gone!
