On the high setting, I measured an initial value of about 2800 using either a CR123A or a 3.7 V RCR123A. It dropped only a little, to 2750, after 5 minutes.
I don't know the accuracy of my meter, but it correlates reasonably well with the reviews. It also tells me that the lux level of the P1D CE on high is about 2-1/2 times as my standard P1 running on CR123A. I don't have good readings for the medium and low settings yet except that on medium with a CR123A, it's brighter than a standard P1 on CR123A.
On high, the P1D CE's lux level is higher than my Blimp from fifthunit, and nearly as high as my Streamlight 4AA Luxeon. Its beamwidth is considerably greater than both.
