Does anyone here know of an led bulb that can replace the incan lamp in a railroad lantern? It is ran by a 6 volt battery, and is a screw in bulb. I think it's about the same size as a m@g light bulb, except for the fact that it's a screw in. I have a friend who asked, and I told him if there was such a thing, you guys would know. I can have pics of the lantern and bulb/socket in question tomorrow if needed.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Try Terralux TLE-20

http://www.terralux.biz/products/TLE-20page.php

See if you can e-mail the Terralux people and see if their Universal LED kit will fit your railway lamp. Also, LED Replacement is another good resource.

I have a Terralux 2XAA Maglight Mini-Star 2 LED conversion bulb that I was given as an equipment trial, and it is very, very bright and has survived much abuse as a back-up light for winter bike commuting getting bashed and jostled around at -40C, so I am a believer in their kit!

enlightenment!

Try the C Crane website. There is a page with 2 led replacement bulbs. Both appear to be screw in. One is 3 5mm and the other is a high power.
