What upgrade emitter - Cree, Seoul, or other - will swap right into a 3AA MAg LED light and work reasonably well with the existing reflector? Thanks.

Battery Junction has terraLUX ministars for AA That may work or they may have others. www.batteryjunction.com . I got one for a larger maglite and it is excellent with no heat issues.

paulsl: Those Terralux modules you're talking about are for the original 2AA MiniMag. TDV8 is talking about the newer MagLED MiniMags, which have been redesigned.
If you have an original MiniMag, they're coming out with a new SSCP4 MiniStar2 drop-in coming out in the next month or so.
