How to pick the best tint?

I just bought 3 new Proton Pro flashlights. I bought 3 so that I could have my choice of the best tint and then give the other 2 as gifts. Is there any real way to pick the best tint of the bunch? Is it ENTIRELY personal preference?

I'm not looking for a scientific breakdown of the light wavelength or anything, just some pointers. Thanks.

Personal preference.

Light 'em all up and see which one produces an image pleasing to your eye.

It's pretty much depends on your preference. However, the warmer tint renders the true color better.

Let me just say kudos for gifting the units that you don't want instead of returning them like some under-evolved individuals are known to do. As to your ?, I find that the bluish tints are usually a bit brighter overall but the warmer (yellowish) tints are more pleasing to use. YMMV
