Fenix Bodies

Just received my P2D Rebel 100 from Lighthound. This is my first Fenix and thus far I am quite impressed. I can see why folks are so sold on Fenix products. Then add Lighthound's recent discount and this is quite a bargain.

Now that I have it and like what I see, a question for all of you Fenix junkies....Will the L2D body mate with and safely power the P2D Rebel head? I see that the Rebel 100 was available in the L2D, but the had appears different. Thinking that having the spare body would make this a very versatile emergency light source given the availability of AA batteries. If the L2D will not work, are there other options?

Yes the L2D indeed will "mate" with the P2D head.
The L1D/L2D/P2D have identical heads and are compatable.

you still need the tailcap for L2d body as well

Fenix Store currently have complete L2 bodies and tailcaps, in both black and olive.

I have a L2D Q5, and have the L1 and P2 bodies. Offers great versatility.

Thanx everyone. I did note in another thread that the heads were the same. Guess my old eyes don't work quite as well anymore
