Best 2AA thrower: Fenix TK20 or Lumapower D-Mini 2AA

Hello,

Just a question: which would be the best 2AA thrower: the TK20 or the D-Mini (with the optional 2AA tube)?
My wife has a TK20 and it seems "reasonably good". Should the D-Mini 2AA be better?
Does the Lumapower have a good reputation considering robustness and reliability, does it throw better, does it have any shortcomings? Is it too long in 2AA?
I guess few, if any people, have experience with this light in 2AA configuration :sigh:.

Looking at numbers of the D-min in CR123 form, it should have more throw then the Tk20.

Do you think, as I do, that output might be less on two NiMH AA cells?

It might be, depending on the circuit. If it is, it might have around the same amount of throw as the TK20, but the TK20 does have a neutral white LED.
