1 D cell Maglites

I have a few questions about these. I have seen these for sale with the military grade ha-III type finish, which I would like to have one in that type of finish. The first question is:

1) What type of bulbs do I use in these?

2)What am I looking at as far as runtime in these?

3)For Squirts & Giggles, what kind of mods is there for this set-up.

I have tried to do a search for this set-up but could not come up with anything.

My fav 1d I ever had was 4aa's in place of the D, a D size malkoff dropin, and an aspherical lens. Omg it was bright and runtime was fantastic. Even without the aspherical it's a great low end (figuratively) mod that packs a punch.

I have two 1D Mags, another on the way, and I have just ordered
another one :devil:.
I do not think anyone uses incan bulbs in them (could be wrong here )
They are mainly used for LEDs, single and multi emitters ... P7s, Ostar,
Q5s and P4s
Do a SEARCH on "Macs Customs" and CPFer "Wquiles" to get an idea of what
can be done to a 1D Mag.
When it comes to which cells to use in them, you have plenty of choices,
rechargeable LiIon cells D-size, 18650s, 17670s and with a special adapter,
C-size, and AA.
I have to say the 1D Mag is my favourite host .... at the moment

There are a few modders on here than can cut down an existing Mag that you have. Mac recently cut my 2D down to 1D for my P7 project. Mac's work on mine was top-notch :thumbsup:

I just received my 1D host from Mac as well .... excellent as usual :twothumbs

Another modder I can recommend is Wquiles, if your quick, he is doing
a run of 1D Mags, look in the B/S/T section
