Well, you have to use slow curing epoxy to start with... :ironic:
Keeping it level when curing usually also helps a lot... :nana:

One of the cleanest looking lights I've ever seen! I'd be afraid to touch that beauty, in fear of leaving a single finger print on it. LOL

Beamshots?

Wow... what a heatsink! Seems a shame to use all that AA on it with such ability to remove heat. With the corners cut off that XR-E, the most thin layer of epoxy possible can be used, as the LED will have been rendered electrically isolated.

You probably already know that, but I felt compelled to protest against so much AA... hehe.

The bezel looks great!

Thank you for the recognition.

I hope to finish my own R2 GITD Aspherical very soon.

Thanks for your concern... but don't worry... there is only a very thin layer of epoxy between the Cree and the heatsink. :)
And... there's no need to cut the corners if you file away the anode and kathode strips at the bottom of the Cree... :ironic: which I always do... :grin2:
Oh and... I also removed the excess of epoxy before applying the glow stuff... ;) Hope you can sleep well again now... :nana: ...

modding is a commoners practice, what makes it special is the creativity certain individuals have that makes the mod standout:D
