Some time ago, I bought a Pro Series 3 LS PR bulb for 2 cell. My intent was to use it in my 2D Mag. Much to my dismay, it flickered every time I twitched the head, and never focused at Bright: always dim.
This morning, I got an idea to try it in my Mom's 2C Mag. Well, to my surprise, the internal part of the bulb socket is much shorter than my 2D, and there is no flickering in her 2C. I got my 2D back in 1996, in Hollywood, CA. Maybe it is an older model.
I figured I had to report this bit of information, as it could apply to the everleds and epeions.
