I have never seen it published, but I think the E2DL and E2L share the same optic.

and heres what the E2L looks like compared to a Malkoff M60

Can I really phone and ask Paul Kim?

In all seriousness though, any estimates?
I wouldn't mind a # for the M61 beam angle instead.;)

Hey all you have to do is call Surefire, and ask for him, you never know?

Try it!

I have called companies and organizations in different fields, and talked to way more important people than Paul Kim, (No disrespect intended) so I know you can. You would be surprised at what you can get for making a call and asking.

I looked on the Icon Web Site, and on the E-mail contact area, it states: all autograph requests will be ignored.

I should have posted this in my reply above...
The malkoff M60 uses a KEPL112706 6 degree optic

E2L/E2DL beam on the left and Malkoff M60 on the right (6 degree optic).

So by this I would say the E2DL/E2L optic is in the 7-8 degree range.

Maybe that is why all the lights get delayed. Mr Paul Kim was too preoccupied answering queries and looking at love or hate mails from thousands of CPFers? :nana:

Well, did you get thru, and talk to the man?

I would try it if I had a real serious question. Don't want to waste his time.

Bump!

Standing by for report!

No I haven't tried hahaha! Surefire CS has bailed me out on a couple broken clips.. don't want them to recognize my phone number and ban me. Would they?
Anyways, I'm doing my part in helping Surefire release the 2010 models - and leaving Paul Kim in peace.

I doubt even flattery will get you connected through to PK.

Anyway, quit procrastinating and work out the TIR optic's beam angle already!
