 Looks like someone was really fond of the Skyline II design. YIKES!

Normally, I'd take the newer version but in this case I'll take the current L2. Now hopefully their dealers don't run out of the old one soon!

Now upon closer inspection this new model is called the L2X. Let's hope it's just an addition to the L2 line and not a replacement for the L2!

It's an L2 in Special Edition just like L2M SS SE, L2P. Looks nice but take's your time cleaning it because of those square ridges from head to bottom. :D.

I wonder if they have fixed the issue that the L2P has with the battery tube being too wide (excessive 18650 cell rattle) and too long (can shake the light to change modes)

There are two versions for sale from itc_shop on everybody's favourite auction site:-

L2X Regular (1 x 18650)
L2X Extended (2 x 18650)

They are both sold without a drop-in.

The ads claim the Regular can take an sst-50 with a max output of 680 lumens, and the Extended can provide up to 500 lumens to an MCE. I would have it should be vice-versa?
