I just received a NEW camo NC D10 SP R2. The finish is awesome and it looks great all over, but I just realized it has a loud whine only when in the medium mode is this normal or should I be concerned. Thanks Tom!

Mine also have a loud whine in medium. I still like the light... It could have been perfect without it.
Not to frighten anyone, but mine also had a loud whine on medium. After 3 months it lost it's memory for high mode. Every time I would turn off the light when on high, it would come on next time in medium. Medium would turn on in medium, and low on low, but not high. Had to send it back to the dealer who most likely will have to send it off to Nitecore. I was told it would take 8-10 weeks! 
Had to buy the new Lumapower Trust AA to fill in until the Nitecore returns.

I have the D10 SP Camo and also have the whine only on medium, it's not as bad as some other light's I have.
