Jetbeam BA20 Lumen rating??????????

Just another case of a manufacturer over-stating lumen output... or at least publishing a spec without detail clarification (instantaneous peak, emitter, OTF...etc). If I set the lux meter to read instantaneous peak/burst my Malkoff M60 measures 260-270 Lumens OTF. But we all know this is false, as the M60 measure ~215 OTF steady state.

Most likely they are just republishing the stated drive current lumen value from the XPG datasheet.

There are probably a dozen different legit & honest ways a manufacturer can derive a lumen value.

I could see 219 being a problem, since they're claiming 270 ANSI, but +/-15 isn't bad.

Same experience with my BA10:(

Although from what I read, it's still brighter than most of the 2xAA XPG lights.
