I just bought a 4sevens preon 2 for an every day carry flashlight and it was every I asked for plus. However, I would now like a tactical flashlight I am down between the stremlight pro tac l1 and the 4sevens quark 123 tactical any information about these lights including the user interface and durability to help me decide is greatly appreciated.

4sevens!! Much more versatile, more modes and a great UI.
I don't have any experience with Streamlight, but I have to say that Quark Tactical is quite versatile and very durable.
I've carried my Quark Tactical AA S2 with me every single day as my backup for more than three months, during which I beat the living hell out of the light and took it swimming multiple times.
Another plus with the Quark is that you can "lego" it.
