This has been asked to me; I hazarded a guess, but I didn't know the real answer. If I remember correctly they ditched Luxeons a while ago... what are they running now? Rebels? Crees?

I had a 2D and a 3D on the Back Friday, and a XL200 before that. 2D is Rebel, 3D XP-E. XL200 has a XP-G I guess.

What Mag's are you asking about specifically? As you've got the D series 2 and 3 cell Mags, The XL Series which uses 2 different LEDs, the ML series, the Mini Mag series which now has the Pro and Pro+ versions out and of course the forth coming Mag Tac.

Thanks, this is what I needed to know. About time Maglite finally decided to keep up with the times. Let's hope they keep it up.
