I was out in the fog a couple nights ago and playing with my jetbeam PA40 and solarforce MPP1, which was running 3AAA. Using iphone, picture was taken of it reaching out to the moon. Pretty neato so i thought i'd share. The beam, as shown by the pic, is very tight! Thowiest light i have. For comparison, i also have a jetbeam PA40 pic and that thing diverges quite a bit. These are my throwiest, and floodiest light.
As you can probably guess, i'm into AA & AAA. These lights have pretty good outputs for these types.
I wonder how much more throw a tk41 has over the MPP1, which is running 3AAA? hmmm... (might have to buy a tk41 next to check  )
Left is MPP1 at the moon. Right is PA40 past some trees.
