Malkoff 2C dropin for Maglite

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has a Malkoff dropin for a 2C Maglite.

Can they give any opinions/reviews about it, what runtime is like ect?

Any info/thoughts would be most helpful.

This dropin produces a real 240 (measured out the front) lumens.

It operates on 2 easily available C size alkaline batteries with a runtime is 1.5+ hours.

And I realize that's not a personal review.

If you look at the CPF Marketplace, there's a thread about the mag malkoff drop-ins. I have a 2D version and am very happy with it.

The reason for the question is I am trying to decide between a 2C and 2D maglite with Malkoff dropin. I have a 4D with malkoff dropin already so just want a small torch with a bit of power and some good runtime. The 2D looks OK but it is a sizable torch, whereas the 2C looks like it would slip into a pocket and not weigh you down.

Not much info regarding runtimes, by try this (sorry about omitting the link because there are tons of threads at CPF

). some info regarding using 2X18500 in the 2C.

Agreed that the 2C would be more portable.
