Thrunite Catapult V2

I have been a sporadic lurker here for a long time. I need some advice. I have an older SST-50 model Thrunite Catapult V2. It's been my faithful companion and EDC light on my duty belt for years. It seems to have failed me. New batteries, no light..... Does anyone here have any tips on how to remove the LED to replace it with something else? Does anyone want the parts from it? I will likely be ordering a new V3 because the head is exactly the same size as a MAG light, therefore my issued traffic cone fits on it...... Does anyone know of another light with a 58mm head? Lots of questions I know, bu if someone could take the time to help me it would be appreciated.....
