Klarus XT11 must be pushing out in excess of 800 lumens with 2X IMR 700 mAh 16340's.

With a fresh set (I'm using efest) this light has never been brighter. Albeit for only the first few minutes. :D

Try it out for yourself.

The other upside is IMR's charge much faster than lithiums.

You are correct, at PF 17 IIRC, we measured an XT11 with ICR123's and it was a a bit over 850 lumens on TurboBB's measurements. The added voltage from using two cells gives it a great boost in output all by itself.

What TEEJ said. I also noticed one of my XT11's (I had 5 of them) runs dimmer than the others.

I can say that my Klarus XT11 XM-L U2 with 2x16340 gets to be as bright or possibly brighter than the Nitecore MT26 - rated at 800 ANSI lumens: I take it the XT11 must be hitting around 800 lumens. With both lights on 18650s the MT26 is visually brighter than the XT11 though.
