Questions for the ARE-C2 charger:

Can the output voltage be changed to 3.7v for LiFePO4?
What is the amperage if only one channel is used (1000mA or 500mA)?

Thanks,
Jake

Hope I, or someone else, can tell you later today, when Fenix has released more info.

Output: 4.2V / 1.5V 1000mA×4 / 500mA×4
looks like it depends on the battery type

Too bad that's not selectable. It would be perfect if I could charge both my 18650s and Eneloops at 1A.

It's x-mas time kids. Now if somebody would kindly fund my acquisition of a new Fenix TK22 special edition and a TK51 as well. That would be swell! :)

Actually after comparing the pictures closely the casing and display look pretty much identical.
It must have been either co-developed or Fenix and Thrunite are buying at least some parts or the whole thing from the same vendor. Some of the electronics inside might still be different.

I suspect they buy their charger or parts of it, at the same vendor. I don't see Thrunite designing their own charger.

Fenix HP15 is something what I have been waiting for. I am just a bit doubting about the heat dissipation at 500lm: the head is pretty small and no cooling fins. I guess it will be pretty warm after a while even at 275lm mode.

I doubt that I would ever use the maximum output on the HP15, but I'd buy it for the extension cable that lets you carry the battery compartment on your body.

I guess there should be a step down function for such brightness and head design, 500 lumens do mean too much for me in a headlamp, maybe just for temporally use.
