Thank you for taking the time to take and post these pictures. A member with a lot more experience than I have said that it is hard taking a photograph of light. You need some kind of support for your camera to eliminate the shake and blur. You don't need a tripod - just something to rest your camera on. You can also use the self timer to trigger the picture without shaking the camera. The exposures seem right and you're off to a good start.
