I just filled the sink and threw in my 6P just to see if it would leak or not. While it was underwater, I turned the tailcap a few times just to see if that would make it leak. When I took it out after about 2 minutes, there were no signs of leaking anywhere. I guess I can rely on this thing rain or shine now.

You sure you don't wanna leave it there for 20 mins instead of 2 mins? How about a bucket instead, it's deeper and has more pressure?

the lexan lens bezels seem to be more consistantly watertight than the pyrex ones. leave the 6P in the pail for a few hours, and if it still doesn't leak you're good to go. if it leaks through any of the O-rings, simply clean and relube. if it leaks through the lens, pop put the lens, clean the O-ring, and pop it back in
