Looking for OWNERS of both lights and would like to know which one you prefer and why.

Apples and Oranges.... Maybe... but both taste good right?

Note: Please stay on topic. This is not X vs X, Im just looking for peoples insights and experiences.

I have an HDS 120 Clicky and a Surefire E1B, is that close enough? While I like the simplicity of Surefire's two mode operation, the two modes that I use most are moonlight and ~70lm medium, and Surefire has neither. I also like that the HDS runs li-ion.

:EDIT: I have my HDS set for turn-on 70lm, press-and-hold 120lm, double-click moonlight, and triple-click 20lm. The nice thing about press-and-hold being set to max is that whenever it is on in a lower mode I can just hold the switch to get momentary max, when I let go it returns to lower mode. This is my favorite feature for night walks.

Yeah sure close enough. If anyone has any similar comparisions those are good too.

Interesting, Thanks for the input!
