Preon modding help

Does anyone know how to remove the internals from a preon head? I'm trying to swap the internals from an aluminum 219b head into a titanium head and it will not budge. I have some clip pliers that fit the holes really snug and I can put some good torque down, but it looks like there is some black adhesive holding it in place.

Found the answer... Heat

Check out the scratched up plastic part around the emitter, this is one of the illumination supply exclusive lights.

How much heat? I've never had much success at maratacs (which are built the same).

A scary amount! I applied the heat while the clip pliers were in the holes so I could try often and use the minimum amount of heat necessary. This is what helped me out:http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...emitter-swap-HOWTO-with-results-and-beamshots
