Olight S2 Baton

i purchased a Olight S2 Baton for my wife for Christmas, very impressive wide and bright light, question i want to ask, i want to start getting into flashlight mods ect, what would be a light similiar in size and power to start with, would a convoy S2+ be a good place to start, i am open for suggestions.

Yes. Great, moddable light. It fits common 17mm drivers, works with all kinds of LEDS on 16mm boards, the reflector can be swapped with an optic, it can even be converted to a triple with little cost and effort. Also, a pretty good deep carry clip is available for less then $2 and it's available in multiple colours with cool metal button. So yes, that's a great place to start.

Note: the olight s series are nice lights but are no fun for beginner modding. The optic only works with xml2 LEDS and the bezel is a press fit so a pain to open.
