Olight S1/S2 subtle UI differences

I have an Olight S1 which I got in 2016 (serial number starts with G), and an S2 which I got in 2017 (serial number starts with H), and I was surprised to find that there are some subtle differences in the UI. I'm wondering if it's a 2016 vs 2017 difference or S1 vs S2 difference. If anybody else has an S1 or S2 I'd be interested in knowing which year it was made and which way yours behaves. You can tell which production year you have from the first letter of the serial number. Here are the differences between mine:


Most of these changes don't matter, but I have to say I don't care for the delay in turning off.

Both my S1's and my S2 follow your table exactly. All three serial #'s start with G.

I also did the same test on my oldest S1A about a year old maybe a little more it's also a G. It acts like an S2.

Thanks, that's really useful. It seems like it's a difference by model and not by when it was made.
