I know this is kind of uncharted territory and that it has been guessed on a couple of times, but do you think it's safe to say that the SF U2 will be running on a Li-Ion battery (Pila or such) in regulation, and with a runtime acording to the capacity of the battery, on the highest level (100 lumens)? Also can we confirm that the Pila 168A (dia. 19 mm.) fits in there?

Last I heard, it's 123-cell powered, and it's not released, yet...So this is unknown territory...

I remember reading about how Jon (of JS Burly's) dropped in a PILA in PK's U2 and the light worked. Regarding brightness and runtime, I don't know. And, whether PILAs will work in the released U2s, we won't know for sure. Maybe someone else will chime in /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ahh, found the thread here.
