Just wondering what's the maximum voltage that its circuits and bulb could take because I'm planning to use them with the rechargeable 123s. Thanks.

There is no circuitry that I'm aware of in the Spyder; it is direct driven from 2x123 cells. 2 rechargeables at 3.7-4.2V each will most likely destroy the bulb.

Thanks.

What had me wondering was that because the Dorcy bulb itself is rated at 118.5 lumens, with an actual rated lumens being ~70.. it would take ~9Vs to actually fully power the bulb. I believe that for a Xenon lamp, that's around 5-6 cells?

So I guess Dorcy is accounting for some other thing that I couldn't think of at the moment.
