Very nice!

Can you give LUXIII Vf bin on Nextgen LUXIII/500 and 700?

Are Panasonic Oxyride rechargeable or disposable?
I am not familiar with them...

"Heat Spread Shell" looks very interesting.

Thank you for sharing your work /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi John,
I used #TX1J for NX500 and #TW0J for NX700.
Oxyride is a disposable type. This is a new development substitute for the alkaline.

If you want to look at more detailed pix, Let's go here, and click "MINIMAG 2AA LuxeonIII Nexgen500" or "MINIMAG 2AA Nexgen700 with HeatSpreadShell" of the left menu. When you click the pix, it is expand. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Does that reflector install without modification?

It is necessary to bore the head to put in the McR20ref.
And I shaved the reverse side of McR to get more tight focus. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is there a way of getting the site translated? Either that or I learn Japanese one of these days (which I should really do, seriously).

Try this for a relatively good online translation. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Silver Legacy,

Nice job modding the MM.

How much did you shave off of the back? The McR20 is already sized to give you the best focus when it is in stock form. Your lux readings are showing around 800 lux for the NG500. You should be getting close to 1100. You may want to try another McR20 without taking any material off of the back. You may get a tighter beam out of it, unless of course, you didn't want a tighter beam, which some don't.

I really like that sink. Does it fit into the stock opening in the body or did you have to bore it out a bit?
