Best Rechargeables for TSP

I'm looking to buy the best set of rechargeable C batteries for my TriStar Phazer. I really like this light, I thought I wanted more throw but now that I have used it it is a great combination of flood and throw. It puts out a great wall of light to a respectable distance.

I use my TSP every night to walk the dog. I keep a fresh set of batteries in the charger and just switch out the batteries every week or so. This is my favorite light for night walks.
