R.I.P. John Vernon and Ossie Davis

I think that we can all agree that the world is a little more sad today without these gentlemen in it. While Ossie Davis is generally best known for his more serious roles, John Vernon is probably best known as Dean Wormer in Animal House. To this day, I always have to laugh or smile when I hear: "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son". Rest in peace, gentlemen.

I'll always remember Ossie as "The Mayor" in Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing". "You're gonna have the cleanest sidewalk in Brooklynn, clean as the Board of Health, Hah!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
