Received my NewBeam today from 7dayshop. Great piece of kit - works perfectly well in my old -style minimag. Not as bright as my other 3 led torch but more than ample for using round the house which is what I wanted it for.
Managed to half blind myself from trying out half used AA batteries attempting to get the little red led to come on. Eventually managed it by draining my surge - a waste of 6 batteries but strangely satisfying to see it light up at last.
The best £17.95 I've spent in ages.
