Well, flashlightreviews has the following Lux numbers, which could be useful in determining throw:
Inova T1: ~ 600
Surefire KL1 (on E1e): ~ 1350
My own personal experience with testing the throw of the E1L involves going to a nearby soccer (football to non-Americans) field, standing at one goal and shining the light towards the other goal. The light from the E1L throws all the way to the other goal, which I believe is about 100 yards (300') away.
