Like the SL TL-2L3W, can the SF L2 be overdriven?

Looking at the runtime graph of the SF L2 (which in itself looks scary enough)could unprotected RCR123a's be used to increase efficency? I know I really do enjoy running my TL-2L3W on two unprotected Lith-ions and do plan on buying a Nuwai ALX-352L 5watt which I have been told runs also nicely on BatterySpace unprotected cells.

Thats a very good n often asked question. I think so far no 1 try an L2 with 2 R123 cos the risk is too high..However, a 17670 will run it with slightly reduced output.

I haven't found a set of R123s that fits mine. I believe the new JSB ones would but I don't have a set yet.

That's odd... My RCR123a BatterySpace Cells are the same size as my Primary 123a's. I would think that the two BatterySpace Cells would have no problem fitting in the SF L2 body?

yup, u r right. All my R123 can fit into the L2 perfectly. However, i just dun have the guys to try to run it with 2 of these though i have try running it with 1 n its work perfectly albeit with low run times.
