Speakig of wally world recommend a good head lite

I went into wall mart and was thinking on getting head lamp.
saw brimkman, dorcy, and everyready, (thet's close anyway)
and wondered if anyone had a recommendation on a good cheapo one. really just need good brightness, and coverage, and non button cell (i think most were AAA or AA powered anyway)
hard to tell with them in the package.
Most were like 12 bucks I would go that for a useable one.VDG

I have the energizer headbeam and it is pretty nice. It has a single band and the optics give you a useful ball of light that when you get used to it can sometimes be more useful than some LED without optics. The drawback is the slide switch. If they had a digital pushbutton it would be better IMO. Since it isn't cartridge based it doesn't feel like it is sagging into your forehead like some light as the batteries are in the base not in the rotatating light and switch module. I have a few incan/LED lights and find the incan is rarely used especially after the batteries get a little depleted as the contrast between white LED and yellowing incan makes the incan look sick.
