What's the smallest 1x123 package for a KL4?

If one were to exclude the Vital Gear FB1, Surefire E1e and Aleph 2 options, are there any other contenders for a really small 1x123 switch and battery tube for the KL4? The VG FB1 is the smallest I've seen so far.

Smallest would be this:

... which is an Arc LS twisty with an adapter for SF E-Series. Unfortunately it isn't available :(
Mine was made by Rothrandir a long time ago.

I like that battery tube Bernie.

I wonder how long a KL4 would run off a 9 volt primary? That might make an interesting tactical light. Short and all the punch of 9 volts...Hmmm???

It is a CR123 which makes it an identical performer to the TW4, but with a twisty making it quite shorter ...

Thank you, all. Wow! That's small, Bernie. Looks like it'll be an Aleph 2 plus Z57 clickie for me. The switch on the Vital Gear FB1 isn't reliable enough for me. I tried a fix that was featured here, but it was an on again/off again (no pun intended) thing.

I guess you mean Aleph 1x123 body with Z57 ... because the Aleph2 is a head :)

Yes, you're right. :)

Powernoodle, what's the runtime on a rechargeable CR2?

Hey Greg ... where did you get the E2D tailcap in HA-NAT? :eek:oo:
bernie

Bernie, I bought a regular black E2D tailcap and sent it to Don (McGizmo) to have it stripped and re-anodized HAIII NAT in one of his regular build batches to the anodizer for a fee.

Bernie , I took this pic from http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=142&t=143421
But a good friend of mine told me he and others from his unit were issued these Scout Lights in HA natural before heading down range a few years ago . So I know they were made for the military . Maby not for the public though .

I am now told the M600 scout light and all it´s parts are only made in Black HA III . Thats where thoes Black KL4 heads are comming from I think .

I would like to have such a tailcap in HA-Nat myself.
