Not sure of the model number, it's 15? yrs old... but I think it was one of the first axis locks.

Exactly... you'd be surprised at the multitude of things that radiate EM fields ;)

PLUS

I was hinting at those who like to mix EMF detectors, flashlights and creepy locations together... hint hint :D

haha sounds intriguing. not following but i'm sure some people will. interesting for an outsider to think of the possibilities of why you'd be in this situation

My wife gave me the Leatherman Micra for Christmas about 14 years ago. Have had it ever since (although I thought I'd lost it a few times!), and carrry it every day.

I have one of my knives on me more than anything else (if I have pockets), next a pistol, and then a flashlight. I have a smallish light on my keys, gotta have light. Each of those- I find addictive.

AND, at work I have (in addition to required PPE) a flashlight, a knife AND a Gerber multi-tool (in a holster), they do not allow my pistol.

lots of people here seem to regularly carry flickblades and firearms. makes me wonder how safe i am when i'm walking down the street, unless of course you're a cop.

2. a lighter, mans best invention FIRE
3. a pen, comes in handy WRITE

It is always good to have backup of the first two.

HAHA. awesome. I would like to add to this list my proton pack...

I always thought one of these would be useful... a little bulky for EDC though!

I think a writing instrument is an excellent idea for EDC, better a short pencil than a long memory! :D

I tend to carry a Spyderco (usually a Delica) in my pocket, and have a Spyderco Ladybug on my 6-inch cable keychain. I've been meaning to add the 'peanut lighter' back to the keychain, once I figure out whether or not a short length of clear vinyl tubing external 'sleeve' will keep the fuel from evaporating. Writing instruments are a good idea. I don't have the 'Pico' keychain pen, but I just got a 'Rite in the rain' pen and small notebook (lighthound.com) to put in the car.

I usually carry a knife - CRKT M16 13LE or Leatherman Wave and a pen. These are in addition to my wallet, keys, watch and phone.
