A good white 5 watter (U) is good...
A V3? Great!
A W3? Fantastic!!

But a X3?!?

Impossible!!!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

But there it is, starin us in the face.

hotbeam, you do know that showing that to us is just plain torture right? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Needless to say, you probably have (or will) have plans for those babies...

But on the off chance you end up with a spare, well... there's one more name you can add to an already long list /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wire them all together, slap on a welding mask, and give it power /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drool.gif That should have no problem lighting up ANYTHING!

sometimes I am glad that I am not a modder but a mere consumer ... I'll just stand by and watch the war over these cute little babies ...

Re: Jackpot!!! X3T 5-watter

Hotbeam -- color me jealous heh. Congratulations on the awesome bin codes. I can't say that I don't want one of these, but I doubt I'd be able to get my hands on one and plus I can't afford it in the first place. Let me ask you this -- have you run any tests on them yet? Is their bin code simply a useless guide as is tradition with the Luxeon lottery or is there truly a significant difference in light output compared to lower LSs?
